School Mission Statement
"In partnership with families and Northfield Baptist Church, the mission of Northfield Baptist Christian School is to provide a Biblically integrated, balanced program of academics, the arts, physical development and community service to equip our students to serve Christ."
Objectives for Education
- To teach that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. His death and resurrection provide forgiveness of sin and new life through faith in Him.
- To teach that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and help the child to appreciate its practical use and importance.
- To teach that all truth is God’s truth, and that every subject’s meaning and relevance whether Bible, language arts, geography, mathematics, history, science, fine arts, or health depends on God.
- To teach that as a creature of a sovereign God, man’s proper position is to be in submission and yielded to God’s will as revealed in the Bible.
- To teach that progress in Christian living is dependent upon fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ through feeding upon the Word of God, prayer, and service.
- To apply spiritual principles in the disciplining of children.
- To teach students how to think and how to apply themselves.
- To teach children to take responsibility.
- To teach wisdom by teaching the student how to apply practically his knowledge to the solution of life’s problems.
- To build godly living in the student by teaching godly character (doing what God does), a godly world view (seeing what God sees), and Godly scholarship (knowing what God knows).
- To make the parents an important part of the child’s education by involving them in a practical way to designated homework assignments.
